League Apps Registration Bug Work-A-Round
Published April 17, 2025

When registering through League Apps and connecting the participant’s USA Lacrosse number, the person registering must ensure two details.

(Detail 1) USA Lacrosse Expiration Date
The first detail is to ensure that the participant’s USA Lacrosse membership expires after the lacrosse program’s final date of operating.

(Detail 1) The Fix
The participant’s USA Lacrosse membership needs to be manually renewed before its expiration at https://account.usalacrosse.com/.

(Detail 2) Match Entered Birthday Across USA Lacrosse & League Apps
The second detail is to ensure that the participant’s birthday is entered into both USA Lacrosse and League Apps, and those dates match. Currently, the poorly written errors that surface often are:

(1) “Your membership number is not valid. Reason: User’s date of birth does not match the date of birth associated with USA Lacrosse Membership…”

(2) “Your membership number is not valid. reason: User does not have a date of birth stored in their user profile….”

(Detail 2) The Fix

To remedy these issues, you must ensure the participant’s birthday is stored in USA Lacrosse’s website and in League Apps (and both those dates match). Further, the birthdays must be independently stored in each League Apps organization you’re registering for. You can update birthdays within League Apps organizations associated with McFly Lacrosse as follows:

  1. McFly Lacrosse Programs (e.g. Max Lax, Trainings, Camps, Tournaments, etc) visit:  https://mcflylacrosse.leagueapps.com/editProfile
    1. To edit your son or daughter’s birthday, click “My Family Account” in the top right and then “Edit” on the participant’s row
  2. PLL/WLL Juniors Summer Sixes visit: https://plljuniorsmcflylacrosse.leagueapps.com/editProfile
    1. To edit your son or daughter’s birthday, click “My Family Account” in the top right and then “Edit” on the participant’s row
